SkyWater Minnesota interns celebrated how our SkyWater name is inspired by the company’s heritage in Minnesota by kayaking on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. Our Minnesota fab sits on the bluffs of the Minnesota river. The Dakota Sioux word “Mnisota,“ which is the native name for the Minnesota river, means “sky-tinted water.“
