Have you ever wanted to earn college credit and take your career to the next level—but the tuition cost and extra time seemed like too much to bear alone? In partnership with SemiWorks, SkyWater developed an apprenticeship program focused on developing equipment maintenance technician talent. The program is designed with a combination of formal education through Hennepin Technical College and on-the-job training based on industry and academic-approved curriculum. SkyWater’s equipment maintenance technicians are critical to our success! They help us avoid disrupted production schedules, minimize safety risks, and protect our capital equipment. No previous semiconductor industry experience is required. SkyWater is seeking individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn and a sense of team. If you’re curious and searching for an exciting culture where you can grow, work on the latest equipment, and make a big impact, consider joining SkyWater!

As a child, I was always very curious and took things apart to figure out how they work. Later, I joined the Navy as an electronics technician which prepared me for my role at SkyWater — where new problems requiring new thinking happen every day.
