The SkyWater team was busy in Missouri last week. The team visited with Missouri Governor Mike Parson to discuss workforce development and investments in advanced manufacturing infrastructure. Afterward, SkyWater CEO and Missouri University of Science and Technology alumnus Thomas Sonderman talked with Missouri S&T students about opportunities in the semiconductor industry. And before wrapping up the visit, he met with CEO of Brewer Science Terry Brewer. SkyWater is committed to collaborating with government, academia and industry as we work to re-shore domestic semiconductor manufacturing and build a workforce in the U.S. to support a robust semiconductor manufacturing industry.
