Srikanth Bolnedi oversees SkyWater’s day-to-day wafer fab manufacturing, engineering and facilities, ensuring efficient and productive operations. His mission is to establish a strong operational foundation that delivers excellence in quality, yield, output, delivery and cost across both high-volume and high-mix Technology as a Service (TaaS) product lines.
With nearly three decades of professional experience in wafer fab operations, quality and packaging, Bolnedi has held key leadership roles at Texas Instruments and Onsemi. Prior to SkyWater, he served as vice president and general manager of Onsemi’s 300 mm operations in East Fishkill, New York, where he played a pivotal role in acquiring and integrating the site from GlobalFoundries and driving cost competitiveness. He began his career at Texas Instruments, focusing on process development for advanced logic and memory products, expanding his expertise to include analog/mixed-signal engineering operations across multiple wafer fabs, global front-end wafer fab quality and chip-level packaging.
Bolnedi holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. He also earned a Master of Science and a Doctorate in chemical engineering from Arizona State University specializing in electronic materials processing.
