Thomas Sonderman

CEO

Thomas Sonderman serves as the CEO of SkyWater Technology, an IonQ company, where he leads operations for the largest exclusively U.S.-based semiconductor foundry.

Before joining IonQ, Thomas served as the CEO of SkyWater Technology (NASDAQ: SKYT), where he led the company’s initial public offering in April 2021, and was instrumental in driving the company’s successful business transformation from an IDM to a pure play foundry.

Thomas’ extensive industry experience includes all aspects of fab operations, spanning roles at high-technology industry leaders Rudolph Technologies, GlobalFoundries and AMD. Notably, he played a critical role serving as part of an executive team at AMD that spun-off manufacturing operations to form GlobalFoundries.

A widely recognized subject matter expert, Thomas is the author of 50 patents and a highly sought-after industry speaker. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Missouri University of Science Technology and a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from National Technological University.

Petrina Zaraszczak

SVP & COO

As Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, Petrina Zaraszczak leads SkyWater’s Engineering, EHS, Fab IT, Fab Operations, Fab Training, Program Management Office, Supply Chain and Procurement to execute our strategy and continue building on the strong foundation we have established.

In her previous role as Vice President, Integration and Transformation, Zaraszczak established IonQ’s Integration Management Office (IMO). She shaped the integration strategies from diligence through execution, aligning the vision, case for change, and integration blueprint to the deal thesis and corporate strategy. She drove operational delivery, inclusive of business planning, synergy realization, clean‑team structures, risk and interdependency management, and partnered with leaders across the enterprise.  Beyond integration, she led enterprise business transformation by shaping and orchestrating strategic and portfolio planning cycles, driving accountability for results, and designing the management operating framework with functional leaders. She ran cross‑functional process improvements and executed CEO/COO‑sponsored, enterprise‑wide initiatives with the change management required to make them stick.

Prior to IonQ, Zaraszczak served as the Vice President of Strategic Business Management for Flowserve’s Flow Control Division, leading a 50‑person product management, data & analytics, and engineering tools organization team. She drove 80/20‑based complexity reduction, product‑based AOP adoption, strategy development and deployment, portfolio lifecycle optimization, M&A pipeline creation, acquisition integration, product management capability building, and enterprise‑level Portfolio Excellence.  At Johnson Controls, Zaraszczak led the functional excellence journey for Product Management across the ~$14B Global Products segment, instituting industry best practices and a best-in-class Product Management Function. In addition, she drove acquisition integration activities, owned the LRP (long-range planning – strategic planning) process for the segment and was part of a core team that developed and delivered the enterprise-level strategy for the ~$25B company. Over her career, she has led P&Ls ranging from $60M to $1B and served in product and business leadership roles at Resideo, Honeywell, TE Connectivity, Sensata and H.B. Fuller.

Zaraszczak holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University and is a certified lean six sigma black belt. She is a two-time Johnson Controls Chariman’s Award recipient, recognized in 2021 Johnson Controls for functional excellence and again in 2023 winner for developing and executing the enterprise’s GWP (global warming potential) refrigerant strategy.

Chris Hilberg

General Counsel & Chief Risk and Compliance Officer

Chris Hilberg is responsible for SkyWater’s legal and compliance functions, and provides the company’s management and board of directors with strategic and high-value business, corporate, governance, transactional and compliance advice, counsel and leadership. He leads SkyWater’s legal and compliance team, and oversees the company’s legal affairs, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, intellectual property, corporate and regulatory compliance, employment law and litigation.

Hilberg’s more than 20 years as an attorney include extensive, broad-based experience at large law firms and in-house. He routinely advises Fortune 500 companies on commercial transactions, risk management, compliance, global sourcing and supply chain functions and intellectual property strategy.

Hilberg has an undergraduate degree in physics from Carleton College, a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, and is a licensed patent attorney before the USPTO.

Ross Miller

Chief Strategy Officer & Chief of Staff to the CEO

Ross Miller serves as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff to the CEO, where he leads the integration of corporate strategy, government relations, corporate communications, and strategic partnerships to advance SkyWater’s growth and U.S. semiconductor leadership. He works closely with the CEO and executive team to align enterprise priorities, drive cross-functional execution, and translate strategy into actionable decisions that support the company’s long-term growth and national mission.

Prior to this role, Miller served as Senior Vice President at SkyWater, where he led the company’s industrial and aerospace businesses and drove strategic go-to-market initiatives, branding, and corporate communications. He brings more than 20 years of experience across semiconductor, technology, and government sectors, including leadership roles at Agnitron Technology, Eaton Corporation, NVE Corporation, and Microsoft, as well as service as an officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Miller holds a B.S. in physics from the United States Air Force Academy and an M.S. in electrical engineering from North Dakota State University.

Sudhakar Adivikolanu, PhD

SVP, Supply Chain & Procurement

Sudhakar Adivikolanu’s role encompasses all elements necessary to excel customer delivery performance goals, achieve supply chain excellence and resiliency and set a strong IT foundation to support both enterprise growth and next generation smart manufacturing.

His decades of experience include success in managing complex and global supply chains and architecting and implementing digital transformations in various semiconductor, high tech and manufacturing environments. He has garnered these skills at Skyworks, Maxim/ADI, SanDisk/Western Digital and i2/BlueYonder. Adivikolanu’s background includes a strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals, manufacturing systems and operations and enterprise digital transformations with deep system and process knowledge.  He has a strong academic background and has authored publications in advanced process control related to semiconductor manufacturing.

Adivikolanu holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. He also received a doctorate and Master of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Christine Dunbar

SVP & General Manager, Silicon Foundry

Christine Dunbar is Senior Vice President & General Manager, Silicon Foundry. She leads the company’s global sales and commercial operations organizations, and is focused on delivering exceptional customer outcomes and accelerating growth.

Dunbar brings nearly three decades of semiconductor industry experience spanning advanced development, manufacturing, and commercialization of complex technologies. She has held senior leadership roles at GlobalFoundries, IBM Microelectronics, and IQE, where she led global sales organizations, business units, and strategic partnerships supporting the deployment of next-generation semiconductor technologies.

Prior to joining SkyWater, Dunbar served as Head of Strategic Partnership Development at Natcast, the operator of the U.S. National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC), where she helped shape public-private collaboration frameworks supporting the CHIPS and Science Act and strengthening U.S. semiconductor competitiveness.

Dunbar holds a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University and is passionate about advancing U.S. semiconductor leadership through collaborative innovation across industry, government, and academia.

Percy Gilbert, Ph.D.

SVP, Engineering

Percy Gilbert is responsible for leading and expanding SkyWater’s engineering organization, which is integral to the company’s ongoing strategic growth in Advanced Technology Services (ATS), platform solutions and wafer services. He oversees key engineering functions and works closely with senior engineering leaders to implement innovative solutions that streamline product development and ensure the delivery of high-performance semiconductor solutions to a diverse array of industries.

Gilbert brings deep expertise in the semiconductor industry, with leadership roles spanning technology development and product engineering. He spent over two decades at IBM where he led advanced process technology development and product engineering for next-generation microprocessors. He has also held leadership positions at Motorola and, most recently, at NXP Semiconductors.

Gilbert received a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and a doctorate in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University and is credited with 10 U.S. patents and over 20 technical publications.

Dan Malinaric

SVP, Fab Operations

Dan Malinaric is responsible for leading SkyWater’s semiconductor manufacturing operations, overseeing fabs in Minnesota and Texas. He provides the company’s leadership team with operational expertise and guidance to drive manufacturing excellence, capacity expansion, and long-term growth.

Malinaric’s more than 40 years in the semiconductor industry include extensive experience in operational leadership and large-scale expansion initiatives. He has held senior executive roles at Atmel Corporation as Vice President of Worldwide Wafer Operations, and at Microchip Technology as Corporate Vice President, where he oversaw Fab 5 in Colorado and Fab 4 in Oregon, leading significant increases in manufacturing capacity.

Malinaric holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the University of Colorado.
